Suitable for power systems at 35kV and below, with a rated capacity range of 10~4,000kvar, a noise level below 58dB, and F (H) insulation class, for both indoor and outdoor application. Widely applied in substations and user power distribution stations.
The arc suppression coil is an inductive coil with an iron core, where the iron core has a gap to achieve a relatively large inductive current, and the inductive current is proportional to the applied voltage. This technology was first proposed by the German scientist Petersen to solve the problem of intermittent ground faults and ground overvoltage in unearthed power networks, hence the arc suppression coil is also known as the Petersen coil.
